Bridget Jones' Diary

This review is about the classic British movie Bridget Jones' Diary.

Bridget, a lonely woman who is near her thirties and is always trying to get a man, decides to write a diary in which she writes about everything that happens to her, including her experiences with men. At first, she starts a relationship with her boss, Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant), by whom she gets enchanted because of his eyes and cordiality. Finally, they split up and Jones starts seeing Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), a family friend. Through funny situations, she discovers that Mark is the only man who appreciates her as she really is.

The plot is based on the book under the same name, written by Helen Fielding. The actors fit the characters perfectly, and that's what makes this a wonderful, funny movie which can be enjoyed by all the family. My favourite scene is the one in which Mark and Daniel fight outside Bridget's flat, break the window pane of an Italian restaurant and end up with spaghetti and cream all over their faces and bodies.

I have two words for summarizing this film: JUST PERFECT!
